On Friday, 21 November, colleagues from across Daikin Applied (UK) came together for a memorable charity football match between the Shop Floor and Factory team versus the Office staff. The goal was to raise funds for a young athlete, Lennon Harmison, who has been selected for an international youth cricket tour to Dubai.
We are proud to share that the event raised £575 in one afternoon, highlighting the generosity and team spirit of everyone who took part. It was not just a workplace charity event, but a fantastic display of community, energy and shared purpose.
The football match proved to be an engaging spectacle, with both teams giving their all in front of a supportive crowd. The Office team secured a narrow 5–4 win in a closely fought contest, where skills, saves, and a few surprise tactics were on full display.
