Business Apprentice Rising Star WINNER

Kane Gellately from Daikin Applied UK Ltd won the Business Apprentice Rising Star category at a major regional manufacturing awards ceremony organised by Make UK.

Kane’s award was in recognition of his dedication, enthusiasm and commitment to learn a highly complex and technical role that would often take others years to master. On top of Kane’s daily duties, he has also contributed to ensuring the successful implementation of a new CRM system, often learning the new software in his own time.

Angie Brand, After Sales Manager at Daikin Applied UK commented, “Concerns that we were giving Kane too much to learn were short lived. Kane has surpassed all expectations and has quickly become a highly valued member of our team”.

Kane will now go forward to the national finals to compete against other regional winners across the UK.
